Artist


Roxanne creates watercolors and acrylics of American landmarks, landscapes,
country scenes, flowers, waterfalls, and even...outhouses. Her unique paintings 
depict simple country items such as: clothespins, fishing lures, acorns, border
collies, garden hand tools...simple american "stuff". Roxanne enjoys painting
"American Country" the way music country artists write their songs about
ordinary American life.

Roxanne received a BA in Fine Arts, Painting and Drawing from St. Mary's
College of Maryland, St. Mary's City, Maryland in 1986.

Roxanne sells her original artwork as well as prints online www.uscountrywildflowers.com and at Shepherdstown Paint & Art where her art
gallery is located. Roxanne worked as a graphic artist between 1986 and 2003 and reproduces her own quality prints. Each reproduction is signed in ink by the artist.


Roxanne was a board member of the Jefferson County West Virginia Arts and Humanities Alliance, 2003-2007.

Roxanne has framed pictures as a part-time job at Shepherdstown Paint and Art, Shepherdstown, WV since 2003. The store opened by William Piercy in 1974.
